Cannigione, set of the west shore of the
gulf of Arzachena, has always been the natural port of the
bay. Originally a fishing village, Cannigione is today a
popular holiday destination, which offers a wide range of
tourist facilities: hotels, restaurants, bars, lovely little
boutiques and shops selling local produce, a weekly market
and a night market in high season. Cannigione Water Sports
Centre offers windsurfing, sailing, and water skiing. There
is a port and a very well equipped marina for boat hire,
from there the daily boat trips leave to explore the beaches
and the islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena.
